Knowing who to trust

The Prime Property Seal of Accreditation is a formal certification distinguishing firms and professional advisors in the prime property industry.

It has been created to provide property buyers and private clients with a recognisable signal that a firm has been independently vetted – meeting our standards for providing consistently high levels of service and client satisfaction.

Who is it awarded to?

The Seal is awarded selectively as part of an independent and ongoing assessment for membership of First In The Door, before members can be confidently recommended to consumers and private clients.

Fewer than 10% of firms we  engage with are accepted, reflecting both the quality of members and the level of selectivity applied.

Accreditation criteria

Firms awarded the Seal demonstrate the standards we expect of advisors operating in the prime property market:

All prospective members are interviewed and are required to provide client references. We also review data from third-party sources and carry out independent peer assessment as part of our ongoing evaluation.

What it is not

The Seal is not a league table or hierarchy. There are no tiers or rankings you can pay to feature in.

Accreditation does not suggest that one accredited firm is better than another, nor that a firm will be right for every brief.

It simply confirms that a firm has been independently vetted and is trusted by First In The Door.

Choosing an advisor

Choosing the right advisor remains a personal decision, shaped by your individual circumstances and priorities.

The Seal provides a clear starting point.

Our private client team can guide you towards the accredited advisors best suited to your brief.
