About your South West buying agent - Rupert Stephenson

Rupert's passion for property began at a young age when he purchased his first house while still in university at the remarkable age of 19. Since then, he has built a thriving career in the property industry. Starting in Central London in 1989, Rupert expanded his expertise to the Surrey, Sussex, and Hampshire areas throughout the 1990s, specializing in the prestigious Prime property market of St Georges Hill.

For the next two decades, Rupert served as the Managing Director of his own highly successful independent Land and Estate Agency in Surrey, Hampshire and Sussex, which he eventually sold in 2016. During this time, Rupert and his family indulged their passion for development and renovation, taking on a variety of projects including several listed buildings. In 2010, they made the bold decision to relocate to a picturesque farm deep in the Devon countryside, along with their beloved horses, Labrador, Dachshund, a herd of Alpacas, and a collection of classic cars. Over the course of seven years, they lovingly transformed the farm and its cottages, even converting part of it into a stunning Wedding and Events venue.

Rupert's personal experience of relocating to the West Country has given him invaluable insights, an extensive network of contacts, and a deep understanding of what it takes to guide clients through the competitive West Country marketplace. His unwavering commitment to helping his clients make the best possible decisions when it comes to buying the right property is second to none. When he's not out and about, walking his dogs, tending to farm duties, or enjoying time on his boat in Salcombe, Rupert indulges in his hobbies of skiing, classic cars, shooting, and occasionally savouring a pint at some of the finest pubs in the West Country.
