You will not regret this - In all honesty, we debated the merits of using a buying agent for some time, where another set of fees seemed hard to justify without any firm sense of the value they would provide. We finally took the plunge and they more than delivered in more ways than we could have expected. I don’t tend to write reviews because, who has the time? In this case, we felt strongly that recognition was more than due. Here is why. Chloe led our search which was executed like clockwork. She patiently listened to our fairly unstructured ideas and helped define some parameters, itself no mean feat, then organised some chauffeured tours, each time iterating the search. We saw about 10 houses in total within 2 months of instruction and initiated an offer on a property well outside our original scope. Having the market knowledge and the pricing benchmarks from their report allowed us to make negotiating decisions in a specific and credible way and having them manage the process with the seller’s agent massively levelled the playing field. Our final offer was accepted under list price by more than twice their fees. That alone would have been a job immensely well done but we were genuinely blown away by the never-ending work beyond this. When they said they would manage the whole process they meant it – we were introduced to a better mortgage broker who improved our financing deal, advised on which lawyers to use, all searches and surveys were handled and we even had three quotes for the renovations. We had pre-completion inspections, photos of meters and handover in person. We didn’t even have to turn the key! All managed by the unflappable Chloe who pushed each and every phase along and managed the few bumps we had with real grace.
